Cancellation and Refund Policy
Courses may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the course at no cost. Cancellations up to 24 hours before class start time are subject to a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations or rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours notice will result in the full cost of the course. We will continue to allow you to substitute staff for the same class at no cost. Failure of a staff to appear for a course will result in a charge for the full cost for the training class. Arriving more than 15 minutes late for class will result in a no show. To substitute, cancel, or reschedule, the supervisor/booker should contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 651-641-0201.
STAR regrets that we occasionally need to cancel a training due to weather, low registration, or other factors beyond our control. When this occurs, we will contact students as soon as a cancellation is determined and offer another solution including online training, if applicable, rescheduling to another date, or refunding registration fees. Notification of course cancellation is posted on our website and via WCCO for weather-related cancellations.
Initial Consulting Appointments
Bookings are for up to 1 or 2 hours of consultation time. Unused time will not be refunded nor credit carried forward. Consultations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the appointment time for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in the forfeit of the full cost of the appointment slot.
