Training Certificates
STAR Services uses SimpleCert for certificate distribution following live training courses. Certificates are typically emailed the following business day. Records for live (classroom) training classes after August 2020 are available via your SimpleCert account.

- For general training classes, certificates are sent to the BOOKER’S email address, as indicated at the time of registration. This is usually a manager or HR representative. Certificates of Attendance are sent for all registered attendees, regardless of score. It is up to the organization to determine competency and what constitutes a “passing” grade.
- For management, compliance, and specialty classes, including Virtual Classroom courses, certificates are sent to the ATTENDEE’S email address, as indicated at the time of registration. Certificates are only issued to registered attendees. For Virtual classes, if you miss the session and watch the recording, certificates are available upon request — contact training@starsvcs.com.

If you are a STAR Online Training student, you are automatically redirected to the certificate download page upon successful completion of each course. If your account is currently active, you can also access your certificates of completion from the Scores tab in the Learning Management System.
Social Workers and Nurses: It is your responsibility to review the content of a CE activity to determine if it meets the criteria of your licensing board for CEUs.
Records Requests
If you are a student looking for a copy of a certificate from an orientation or annual training course you took previously, please note that STAR Services does not maintain training records for students registered by their employer. Contact the Human Resources department of the organization who paid for your training to request a copy of your certificate.
If you were a self-pay student, need a certificate for a professional development (management/compliance) course, or need records for your organization, please submit a Records Request or contact training@starsvcs.com or 651-641-0201.
Using SimpleCert
After the course, an email with a download link will be sent to either the Booker or the Attendee, depending on the training type (see above).
If you have not received your certificate within two business days of your class, check your spam or junk mail folder. If you still cannot locate your certificate download email, please contact training@starsvcs.com.
To ensure proper and timely delivery, add certificates@simplecert.net to your safe senders list.
In addition to downloading your certificate from the email, you also have the option to create a free account with SimpleCert. This allows you to see all certificates associated with your email address in one place.
Note: If your booking contact changes in the future, we can easily update your existing recipient account to a new email address.
Certificates from all live training courses after August 1, 2020 are available to view in SimpleCert.

Creating a Free Account

After you log in, you’ll be able to see all certificates sent to your email address and retrieve them at any time.
Downloading and saving copies for your records is still recommended.
To create your free account and see all your certificates in one place, click on the Go to Recipient Portal link in your certificate download email or go to starservices.simplecert.net.
Click on the FIRST TIME USER? link above the login button.
Enter your email address and you will be emailed a secure link from which to set up your password.
